PETERS: THE CANDIDATE OF CHOICE

The San Diego Union-Tribune, the Corridor News and the San Diego Jewish Press Heritage have all declared their support for Scott Peters. In an editorial on Oct. 22nd the Union-Tribune identifies "character" as "paramount" in the current City Council races, describing Peters as a candidate with "remarkable preparedness ... insight and leadership qualities" that will "help bring an end to municipal ineptitude." In an editorial on Oct. 19th the Corridor News "strongly" recommended "the election of Scott Peters," citing his "vows to restore fiscal accountability to the taxpayers and to defend the region's natural resources ... Scott is the type of community leader we need on the City Council and he's the best candidate for the job." The rest of his wide array of supporters obviously agree that Peters is the only choice for District One.
